Jeffrey- Shortly after graduating from Western Michigan Univ., I moved to Hawaii. I have formed a connection to the water and the surrounding environment. I am very grateful to have an incredible backdrop to work in.
What I do? As a photographer, I focus mostly on shooting weddings throughout Hawaii. I do also shoot as a portrait photographer and have worked with a number of other local professionals. When working with my clients, I like to get a great feel for who they are and what it is they envision. I believe that it is the personal connection that makes their experience incredible.
Why I do it? Shooting is what I love to do. The
photography business never feels like work to me. I absolutely love
the photographic opportunities presented shooting weddings and couples
portraits. There are a great deal of different emotions and
expressions. Weddings present opportunities to take pictures in every
direction one looks. It also provides me the great pleasure to become a
part of my clients experience and make great friends in the process.
How did I get started? I started shooting landscapes with a camera given to me by my mother upon graduation. Moving to Hawaii presented me with the ability to shoot every day. After a while I noticed that I really enjoyed photography but there was something missing. I had an opportunity to photograph distinguished guests at a corporate event and liked the interaction. Shortly there after I learned that I really enjoyed the chance to work with and photograph people. From there I got into shooting portraits and weddings. I love what I do.
I welcome the opportunity to speak with you if your planning a wedding or portrait event here on Maui. Connect with me through the contact page so we may start a dialog. Aloha. Jeffrey.
